SUMMER 2026 Packing List

Clothing

  • ~10–14 T‑shirts (short‑sleeve)

  • Several long‑sleeve shirts or sweatshirts (for cooler evenings)

  • 4–6 pairs of shorts

  • 2–4 pairs of long pants

  • Sweatshirt / hoodie / light jacket

    Underwear (enough for duration of camp)

  • Socks (lots — summer camps usually go through many pairs)

  • Pajamas / sleepwear

  • 2–3 bathing suits (pool / water activities)

  • Sun hat or cap (for hikes, sun protection)

  • Optional: nicer/Shabbat clothes (if camp includes Shabbat‑style meals or dress-up nights)

Toiletries & Personal Care

  • Toothbrush + toothpaste

  • Soap / body wash / shampoo / conditioner

  • Comb / brush, hair ties / clips if needed

  • Sunscreen (very important for summer in Israel)

  • Lip balm (with SPF)

  • Deodorant

  • Personal hygiene items (if relevant)

  • Small towel or washcloth (for shower / daily use)

Camp & Trip Essentials

  • Reusable water bottle (labeled with camper’s name)

  • Backpack or day bag (for hikes, trips, excursions)

  • Hat or cap for sun protection

  • Sunglasses (optional but helpful)

  • Flashlight or small torch (some camps recommend for bunks/trips)

  • Notebook / journal + pen (for note‑taking, letters, journaling)

  • Water‑proof bag / plastic bag for wet clothes (after swimming or water activities)

FOOTWEAR

  • Comfortable sneakers / closed‑toe shoes (for everyday use, sports, hikes)

  • Flip‑flops or sandals (for pool, showers, casual wear)

  • Optional: water shoes (if there are water‑based activities)

BEDDING & SLEEP

  • Sleeping bag or bed sheets + light blanket (depending on your bunk setup)

  • Pillow (and pillowcase)

  • Extra towel(s) — both bath towel and beach/pool towel

OPTIONAL/USEFUL EXTRAS

  • Sunglasses

  • Extra pair of clothes for changing (especially after sports or water)

  • Laundry bag (for dirty clothes we will be doing laundry in camp)

  • Simple camera (optional, for memories/photos)

  • Snacks for personal taste (only if allowed by camp)

  • Hat / cap for sun & hikes

  • Basic first‑aid / reusable band‑aids / blister patches (especially for hikes)

IMPORTANT REMINDER
